What do they look like?

A lot of people have asked me how I saw my characters for my book Estelle. I searched for Middle Eastern actors because I based my story on Ancient Persia/Middle East. Here is the gallery of the characters.

Uncle Cai-Pierfranceso Favino, an Italian actor. I first saw him in the Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian 2008 movie adaption.

Aunt Hadassah- I envisioned her a beautiful woman, aged before her time, but aged gracefully. She was the hardest to find a picture that most resembled how I saw her.

Namah-India American actor, Sendhil Ramarurthy. I pictured the villain as the type who can fool you into thinking he is on your side. And he was phenomenal as good-guy turned villian in The Flash, Dr. Ramsey Rosso. Looks can be deceiving.

Ishta- Walaa ElSherif, an Egyptian actress, is classic beauty. She has the olive skin and dark features I imagine for the Princess. I searched for middle eastern actress and voilà.

Jesse-Disney's live-action Aladdin remake star makes it onto the list as a lead character, yet again.

Aled-Lee Majdoub, Lebanese actor, is how I see the handsome emperor.

Part two– the end of this week. The characters in that post will be the main lady of the hour, Estelle. You can also see Ethniel, Lee-ta, and Jerome. If you want to see any other characters, let me know in the comments!
