Ocean of Tears

You collect every tear,

all my tears have formed an ocean.

Somehow You contain that ocean in Your hands.

I’ve created an ocean of tears.

It’s filled of many gripping fears.

You’ve collected each drop into Your reservoir.

I’ve created an ocean of tears.

I’ve drenched my clothes with soaking salty tears, drowning me in the giant surf.

I can’t swim back to the wharf; the waves are blocking all my sight.

I am crying out in help for You to save me from the thrashing waves.

I doubt I’ll ever feel the sand again.

Can a lifeguard swim to save me;

Maybe, I will drown at sea?

I tread the water around me, giving up the flailing fight.

Can some save me now?

My torso has no more strength to hold my head above the ocean waves.

I cry one more squeal of help.

I sink, and can’t hold on anymore.

Sinking, I feel a strong arm grip my waist.

The lifeguard  has come to take me back to shore.

Rushing waves about me, I’m pulled to safety of the beach.

I grasp for breath and soak up the sun, lying on the safety of the sand.
